Sangsters Organic Market Grande Prairie

When I saw the Sangsters Organic Market sign when driving around one day I was super excited. That was until I checked out the website. On their website it just looked like any other health food store. Well that was until one day someone mentioned that they also would be carrying organic fruit and vegetables and also meat.

So I patiently waited for the store to open. I found out they were open and was uber excited to go. We drove up, had to drive to the back of building, which is actually the front of the building, I was expecting a large store, as the building was huge, well it was far from big, but I kept an open mind. We walked up to the door and walked in. There was a lady at the till with her head down, she never greeted us, nor did anyone else at that time. Right by where you walk in they have there tiny bit of produce. It was very poor looking produce, it was very wilted and displeasing to the eye. We decided to keep looking. We walked down the isle, and a worker was there putting products away and he did greet us, but the way the lady at the till still hasn't looked up. We walked to the back of the store, which did not take very long, and took a look in there freezers. There was such a lack of product that it was disappointing. We went through the rest of the store and back past the tills, and no the lady still never acknowledged us or even lifted her head.

The rest of the store just seemed to be like every other small health food stores. I would not bother calling it an organic market as you would get more variety and better quality at a regular supermarket. The worker did say bye to us, which is good. but the lady at the till still had her head in a book, very poor customer service skills she has.

I was very disappointed going in to Sangsters, but I do understand that with them being new that maybe their stock isn't up to its full potential yet. I decided that even though the first experience was very poor that i would give them another chance later on and see if my mind will be changed
